| few as possible actually visible (2) Since my boost was already read for me, I felt personally that the next two important ones were oil pressure and water temp. (There has got to be a reason why those are the next two on our stock gauge cluster). I REALLY wanted Defi water tempurature to really give accurate readings for people with my new TOM vertical FMIC setup in Texas summers. I wanted to see if there is actually a way to have a FMIC on our cars without over heating...call me a guinea pig :) Basically, I got a brand new AC condenser without half the charge face covered in bugs and dirt, the billion highflow thermostat, relocated my filters to the sides, built a special duct that acts like a ground feeder for fresh air to the radiator from under the car, and relocated the oil cooler to inside of the radiator with the SPL unit to try and get as much fresh air as possible to the radiator. I would hope that this causes it to run like a champ even in 100 degree weather. We shall see and hopefully the results will be beneficial to others. If it fails...you'll see me going back to sidemounts. As far as an oil temp gauge, since I don't want a ton of gauges visible, and also b/c the oil temp will be partially more related to water temps now since it is in the radiator, I chose not to get one. Maybe later on if necessary (Defi stuff is addicting! haha)...there is still room in my glovebox.
